Client testimonials

Here are a few words from several clients.

From a previous experience with Pam regarding another case, I hired her as my attorney due to her expertise and knowledge of the law, along with her professionalism in the courtroom. Outside of the courtroom, her compassion, not only as her client, but as a person, reinforced my decision to retain her. She took the time to make sure I understood the proceedings, what I was facing with sentencing, even clarified the legal jargon, and was very fair with her fees and our payment arrangement. With her determination and guidance, she helped me feel confident and secure walking into the courtroom, and I would recommend her to anyone that needs not only a lawyer, but a champion in their corner.

During our meeting she spoke knowledgeably about the laws and processes that would be used to serve me. She also listened to my questions and concerns. I felt confident in her ability to represent me. Pam's office was responsive and reached out to me with all new developments.

I would recommend her to a friend and family member.

In July of 2011 I was arrested for a DUI offense, booked and charged. I was frightened beyond belief. I had never been in trouble with the law in my sixty four years. Being retired and disabled, I felt I was unjustly accused.

I plead not guilty before the judge and was assigned a public defender who happened to be Ms. Pam Forness, who went right to work, advising me through some difficult days ahead.

Ms. Forness held interviews with the arresting officers and witnesses, gathering critical information about the incident. She had interviews with me, and tried to calm my fears and anger which were causing me extreme stress and anxiety. Facing outrageous fines, jail time and a criminal driving record, the stakes were high.

In January of 2012 my trial by jury was held. Ms. Forness handled the trial like the trained professional she is. After destroying the prosecutors case, the jury found me not guilty of the charge.

I consider Ms. Forness my friend, for without her help and sincere dedication to her profession my life would have changed forever. It is my sincere hope that whomever reads this, considers Ms. Forness to help them with legal issues.

On November 22nd, 2010, I found myself in a life altering situation, that to date, continues to mold and refine me as a human. On that fateful day, I accidentally hit a woman with my car, causing her demise. That day, a part of me died as well.

As time passed by, I was caught up in a world most alien to me; one of judicial proceedings, and for the most part, completely foreign and abstract. Without the helpful hand of you, I surely would have fallen through the cracks. Something that you are aware of, is the fact that, shortly after the incident, and once again, a few months later, I tried to take my own life. The pain, the grief and the remorse were simply too much for me to bear. But somehow, God, I would assume, wouldn't allow me to die. Somehow, I managed to make it to the next moment, and then to the next, and so forth, until finally, the trial.

And the outcome was more than I could have ever hoped for. This is solely due to your efforts Pam. Without you, I truly have no idea where I'd be right this moment, if here at all.

I am half the man I used to be, due to your  efforts, and the fact that you treated me as a human, and not as just another case, I now can stand before you, and say that there truly is a future.

I will never forget what you have done for me, as it goes beyond mere lawyer/client and into the realm of compassion. I am touched at the magnitude of integrity you two have shown, and continue to show. Your professionalism and attention to even the most minute detail, have and still do amaze me.

You truly are a credit to your profession. From day one, you kept in constant contact with me, enabling me to more clearly see what was going on in the background.

I am honored to not only call you my lawyer, but my friend.  I am a richer man, having made your acquaintance.
